Community Land Trust Q&A - Homeowner Driven Programs

  • Tuesday, October 16, 2012
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Turners Falls, MA

Registration is closed
VCLT members and friends are invited to an informal presentation and discussion about the Windham and Windsor Housing Trust's Homeland Program.  The Homeland program is an example of a homebuyer initiated Community Land Trust program, where the homeowner finds the house they want and the trust helps to subsidize the purchase by buying the land.

Thank you to the great folks at Windham and Windsor for taking the time to meet with us.  Please RSVP for this event via vclt.org and you will be sent directions.

The Windham & Windsor Housing Trust exists to enhance the quality of life of low- and moderate-income citizens; to preserve and revitalize neighborhoods; to foster diversity; and to improve the social, economic and cultural health of communities in Windham and Windsor Counties, Vermont.

The membership of Windham Housing Trust voted in April 2011 to change the name of the organization to Windham & Windsor Housing Trust.  This action preceded the May 2011 acquisition of many of the assets of Rockingham Area Community Land Trust of Springfield, Vermont, which had voted to dissolve.

The Windham Housing Trust was formerly the Brattleboro Area Community Land Trust and has been around for over 25 years.
